I thought I’d share something related to a new project that I will be releasing down the line. So, I have been slowly collecting Ladies Gloves for a capsule drop that I have been planning, and I received this delightfully touching letter from a seller in regard to the gloves. Plz have a look!
Receiving this letter served as a beautiful reminder to myself as to why I am doing what I am doing. When you repurpose items, a lot of intimacy and care goes into the crafting; moreover, every object and piece has a story behind it.
The story within these items is the impetus behind Dusted Archive. I want people to know that the items here have lived a life before them. To recognize that these very items will continue to exist when they are gone. The pieces here have been cherished and interacted with; they have seen adventure and history unfold through their predeceasing owners. I want my customers to find inspiration in that, and to find motivation to continue those adventures in these very pieces. And most importantly, to look good all the while doing so…
